Some work I did on Anthem's environments. I had a hand in many different parts of the game, but I had ownership responsibility for the level art on the Emerald Abyss district and the Sanctuary Ruins within it, as well as Matthias's Lab. In world building, my responsibilities were mostly on defining the layout of the space using architecture, terrain and the placement of art assets. Much of this work was done independently, as concept art would not be able to cover such a large area.
I was also responsible for keeping my areas performant, including creating countless shadow meshes and lods for faster compute times. Done in collaboration with other very talented concept, environment, and VFX artists.
